Market Recap: New Threads & Vibrant Vibes at Mad March Market!
Last Saturday evening, we headed down to the Mad March Market at Evanston Gardens Community Centre. From 5 PM to 9 PM, we had a blast meeting local pet parents and showing off what we’ve been working on behind the scenes at DD PET.
This market was extra special because we finally got to debut some of our newest arrivals. If you couldn’t make it down, here’s a look at the "show-stealers" from our stall:
1. Wear Your Heart (and Your Breed) on Your Sleeve
We officially launched our collection of Embroidered Breed Patches! We had a whole "gallery" on display featuring everything from Poodles and Golden Retrievers to elegant Siamese cats. These iron-on patches are the perfect way to DIY your own denim jacket, tote bag, or even your pet’s travel carrier. It’s all about celebrating the specific breed that makes your family whole.
2. The Bubble-Handle Color Collection
Walking the dog just got a lot more comfortable (and colourful!). Our new Pastel Rope Leashes were a huge hit. The standout feature? The unique, ergonomic "bubble" handle that’s as soft on your hands as it is bright on your eyes. Whether you're a fan of lilac, mint, or peach, these leashes are designed to make your daily walk the most stylish part of your day.
3. Detailed Embroidered Tags & Charms
For those who love the finer details, our new Round Embroidered Breed Tags were the talk of the night. The craftsmanship in these is incredible—capturing the personality of each breed in high-density thread. They are perfect as bag charms, key chain or decorative additions to your pet’s gear.
Keeping it Local
At DD PET, we love the Adelaide market scene because it allows us to see our products in the real world. Seeing a pup's eyes light up (or more likely, their owner's!) when they find a patch that looks exactly like them is why we do what we do.
